HMS Preschool Grade P5 - Ms. Rae Kawamura

Aloha!  Welcome to the wonderful world of P-5!  My name is Ms. Rae and I am so excited to be one of the preschool teachers at HMS.  Working alongside me this year is Mrs. Yoshioka and together we are looking forward to a year filled with a lot of learning, laughter, love, and of cause memories to last a lifetime.

In the 4-year-old classroom, the students continue to build upon the skills they learned from last year.  We will work on learning the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, and monthly thematic units using art, exploration, and hands-on activities.  All of our daily activities will provide the students with the necessary foundation they need for kindergarten.

Mrs. Yoshioka and I would like to wish all our HMS students and families a wonderful school year, and we’d like to say once more, “Welcome to P-5!”
